In short
Klark is an all-in-one management platform. It brings CRM, invoicing, e-commerce and bank accounts together in one place. It is built for active small and mid-sized businesses and online sellers, as well as independents who want to structure their operations and stay ahead of e-invoicing requirements. The goal is simple: replace 5 to 10 apps with a single subscription. Everything works on web, iOS and Android.
The market is vast. The United States counts 36.2 million small businesses, which represent 99.9% of all US companies. SBA Office of Advocacy, 2026 The European Union counts around 34 million SMEs, 99.8% of all EU enterprises. European Commission, 2025 Together, that is more than 70 million small and mid-sized businesses. But Klark's core target is not the company just starting out. It is active small and mid-sized businesses and online sellers, with real volumes of clients, invoices and payments to manage. They are the ones juggling five to ten disconnected tools today, and that is exactly what Klark brings together.
In the EU, yes, and it is coming fast. The VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) reform was adopted in March 2025. From 1 July 2030, structured e-invoicing becomes mandatory for cross-border B2B transactions across the EU, based on the European EN 16931 standard. European Commission, 2025 Several countries move earlier: Belgium and France in 2026, Germany phased through 2027 and 2028, with Italy and Poland already live. In the United States, there is no federal mandate yet, but structured e-invoicing is being adopted voluntarily and gaining ground. Klark already anticipates this shift. Its Fakture tool generates structured electronic invoices aligned with the European EN 16931 standard that underpins these mandates. So you stay ahead, wherever you operate.
Klark is built for active small and mid-sized businesses and online sellers, as well as independents who want to structure their operations. It is a management cockpit that also handles your day-to-day: invoicing, payments, bank reconciliation and accounting follow-up of your sales. It does not handle payroll and does not aim to be full accounting for a large company. There is no free plan yet, Klark is in early access, but the subscription stays commitment-free and cancellable anytime. The value is highest if you already run several tools in parallel (invoicing, CRM, POS, e-commerce, bank accounts) and want to unify them in one place. If you are just starting out, with one or two clients, or if a dedicated accountant already handles everything, the gain will be smaller.
Klark adapts to the vocabulary and workflows specific to each trade, instead of forcing generic accounting on everyone. Every trade has its own documents, its own payment rhythm and its own jargon: a tradesperson does not invoice like a therapist, and an online seller does not manage cash flow like a consultant. However, Klark does not yet claim to cover every sector-specific detail in its current version: some highly specialized legal mentions still need to be added manually depending on your activity. Priority has gone to the ten trades listed below, which represent a large share of active small businesses and independents in 2026. That said, the platform keeps expanding with new document templates as more trades join Klark, with the current limitation being a coverage focused on the most common service and sales activities:
Freelancers
quotes, invoices, overdue reminders
Tradespeople
on-site quotes, on-site payment
Consultants
engagement pipeline, client portfolio
Online sellers
multi-store, payment reconciliation
Restaurant owners
point of sale, supplier invoicing
Therapists & coaches
appointments, client follow-up
Real estate agents
listing agreement, commission
Photographers & creatives
service quote, rights transfer
Shop owners
mobile POS, stock management
Trainers
training agreement, sessions
Yes. Klark offers an MCP (Model Context Protocol) connection, compatible with Claude, ChatGPT, Mistral, Grok and Perplexity. You drive your data and tools from an AI assistant, in plain language. For example: create an invoice, find a client, track a payment.
